About Us
How the ONE Conference came to be
Our Why
Some of my favorite youth events have been conferences. I love worshiping together and hearing a powerful message from the Gospel. I also love when the event has already been organized, and I can just show up and be present with my group. I don’t have to organize worship or go over the lesson - I can just be with students.
I also love when I get to be with other churches. It is so important that students know that they belong to the big “C” - and it is important for me as well. I need to be able to share with other youth pastors, hear about their challenges and the victories, and be part of encouraging each other to keep taking the next step and following God faithfully.
These things became the foundation of our vision for the “ONE Conference.” We want to create an event that sets ministries up for success. We want to create an event where student pastors can bring their students and invest in them, without the distractions that come from planning and managing an event. We also want to create an event where student pastors know that they are not alone and have a safe place to share and grow.
We are all a part of the One Church. When we come together, we’re reminded that we’re not alone, and our students get a clearer glimpse of how far God’s Kingdom reaches. We’re hoping that the ONE Conference can be a place where some of that coming together happens - and we’re hoping you’ll be there to be part of it.
